Respiratory Protection

To help the selection of Respiratory Protective Equipment (RPE), we are able to offer a full range of disposable masks plus half, full face and powered respirators. The first step is to identify the hazard (dust, fume, gas or vapour). Secondly, assess the level of risk and measure the level of contaminant in the workplace (compare this to the relevant occupational exposure limit – OEL). Thirdly, select the proper respirator and finally ensure all training and face fit obligations are fulfilled.

Our face masks and respirators are especially appropriate to dealing with any contact with poultry and other birds that have any risk of contamination from 'Bird Flu' or the H5N1 virus.
