EN471 High Visibility Clothing

Class 2 High Visibility Clothing
Class 2 high visibility clothing provides an intermediate level of protection, and includes sleeveless waistcoats designed to fit over existing uniforms or clothing. Class 3 High Visibility Clothing
For high visibility clothing to be classified as Class 3 it must provide the highest level of protection. For coats and jackets this must include full length sleeves, and it also includes full body safety clothing such as coveralls and two piece suits. All Class 3 safety garments are covered with fluorescent material and include two broad retroreflective strips. A retroreflective material shines very brightly in the presence of direct illumination, which provides an ideal level of visibility during poorly lit times of day or in fog or mist where traffic may be passing close by.
