Workshop & Value Spill Kits

We have recently introduced two further categories of spill kits, one of which is designed for use within smaller workshops and is a form of general purpose spill kit. The spill pod is able to cope with a wide range of small spillages within such environments as workshops and sheds. This is ideal where space is a premium, and there may be several potential hazards, though none of which are likely to exceed a relatively minor capacity. We have also introduced a new range of value spill kits which provide much needed solutions for those whose budgets may be tight. We believe that safety is paramount, and our value spill kits help to ensure that everyone has the opportunity to be prepared, since the cost of not having adequate solutions can be far higher than the cost of prevention.

Spill Containment

Sometimes spill kits need to be implemented in situations where spillage is to be expected. In this case solutions are required which contain spillages over longer periods of time. Drums can be hazardous, and if left on the ground leakages or spillages will inevitably find their way into the mains drain. In such cases a spill kit is required to deal with containment, and our polythene drum pallets provide an excellent solution, and when combined with a sump will enable drums to be stored without spillage or leakage risks becoming a problem. We provide a wide range of spillage containment products, including bonded containers and cabinets for hazardous products. From household general purpose spill kits to industrial spill containment solutions, the range has to be broad in dealing with such a wide range of potential problems.

Spill Kits & The Law

Although there are regulations and guidelines requiring household waste to be disposed of with consideration for the environment, including disposing of oil and hazardous substances such as solvents, businesses need to be aware that they have legal obligations when it comes to spill kits and spill containment, and the penalties for not fulfilling these legal obligations is severe. Current legislation governs the storage and handling of products deemed to be hazardous, and we provide spill kits and containment solutions to help you meet those legislative requirements.
